JAVLEC

JAVLEC stands for Java Learning Centre and was formed in 2005 with a focus on community development in the poor areas of Java and Bali Island. They run several programmes in the villages to support environmental development,
poverty alleviation, and forestry protection.

JAVLEC has received a grant of £4,989.51 for their Village Based Enterprise Programme to reach out to about 500 households in the Bogoran Village area. These households will have access loans to help them develop small businesses within their community to sustain their lives.
