Polaris Project

Japan is recognised as having one of the largest human trafficking problems of industrialised countries. Polaris Japan was formed to combat this problem in Japan through its victim support, outreach, training and awareness building programmes.

The group has been awarded £5,098 to support its Identifying and Assisting Japanese (Domestic) Victims of HumanTrafficking programme. The programme is aimed at improving the toll free hotlines, the outreach website and encouraging community involvement to help more victims come forward openly.
