TRUK

TRUK have been working since 2000 in the district of Flores in Eastern Indonesia to help promote human rights, especially in efforts to decrease the number of women and children who fall victim to domestic violence and human trafficking. Often the victims of violence are not protected but seen as criminals and hence social and public awareness is a crucial issue that the group tries to address.

TRUK have been awarded £1,000 to support their trauma healing, medical service, shelter and legal assistance programmes for victims.
