Culture Incorporated provide preteens and teens a safe and nurturing place to be after school. They are committed to do everything in it’s power to provide Des Moines youth with the tools and support needed to become positive, productive, adult leaders.
They believe that because of schools budget cuts in the fine arts programming, certain creative outlets are being lost. They want to provide chances and opportunities for children to releasing artistic potential, build confidence through accomplishments and share cultural diversity though song, dance, and art.
£4,299 was awarded to the project ‘Beyond Body Image, Barbie Dolls and Baby Mammas’. This project provides a safe and nurturing place after school for youths aged 8-18.
