Ipswich Polish Club

Ipswich Polish Club
The Ipswich Polish Club has the overall aim to improve the lives of Polish and other migrant workers who would otherwise be isolated with no focal centre to use.
The Trustees are an active group whose specific aims are to increase the esteem, confidence and motivation of the group and to improve the language and career opportunities by giving each other practical support through commitment and planned activities for all age groups.
They invite the whole community to share in the facilities which include workshops, information and advice on community benefits, wider areas of finance, housing and resettlement and to also provide opportunities for cultural displays, dance and drama for youth and elderly groups.
Our funding of £5,000 goes to buy books, DVD’s and audio casettes for a new library which serves the Polish and other migrant worksers in the Ipswich area.
