Introducing Alix ‘running woman’ Ovel
Ah, Alix, Alix, Alix. So good we named her thrice. The lovely Alix is also joining us on our quest for fundraising, personal achievements and blisters and will be appearing in the first Brighton Marathon, on behalf of the Foundation. Now, I’m not one to succumb to compliments and flattery (see question 9) but I think this girl will go far. Well, probably around 26 miles far…
Anyway, without any further ado and any more compliments back, here’s the lovely, intelligent, sparkling and rather wonderous Alix
Apart from your home and car, what’s the most expensive thing you’ve ever bought?
My friends bridesmaid dresses…. while not overtly expensive if just counting one, when you have five it all adds up.
What’s been the most embarrassing moment of your life?
Being an “embarrassment magnet”, I tend to shrug off anything that’s considered embarrassing by normal people and accept it as part of my personality. That said, I have to say shooting tequila and hip-hop rapping in front of Paul McGreevy is pretty up there in the shame stakes. I was burning red for days.
If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
Peace of course
If you were invisible for a day, what would be the first thing you’d do?
I’d sneak into a top end restaurant and eat all the food.
If you had a pound to give to charity, which collection tin would you pop it in?
Whichever charity needed it the most.
When was the last time you cried?
Yesterday when I watched Don’t Tell The Bride on BBC three. Whoever thought that show up was a genius.
Who did you last receive a text from and what did it say?
From my friend Claire about what to have for dinner. I texted back saying I would pick something delicious up from M&S as a treat, but I don’t know what yet and I know I’m going to be puzzled when I get there because it’s a very indecisive shop for food.
If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?
Anything that was spelt normally would do.
What is your favourite thing about The Body Shop Foundation?
Adelle – she’s lovely.
What one skill or talent do you have that no-one knows about?
I can crab walk really quite far.
