Home Start Arun

Home Start Arun is a voluntary organisation which recruits and trains volunteers to offer support and friendship to families with at least one child under 5. It is our aim to empower families in order to help them deal with problems, therefore preventing family breakdown, bringing the family back into the local community.

In the last year, they have given home visit support to 35 families, with another 10 receiving occasional support. This is set to rise significantly this year to 60+ families.

Our funding of £2,000 goes towards the salary of the part-time organiser for Littlehampton.
