Life Centre
Life Centre is a vital line to those who have survived rape or sexual abuse. They provide specialist face to face counselling services, telephone/email/text help lines and outreach/preventative education through workshops, training and talks provided to schools, youth groups and other organisations. Their youngest client has been 7 – their eldest to date, 83.
The effects are devastating and include post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, dissociation, self-harming, eating disorders or alcohol & drug abuse.
Our funding of £5,000 goes towards the cost of face-to-face counselling sessions for those who cannot afford to pay the full cost of their sessions.
