Wick Information Centre

Wick Information Centre has been operating for over 11 years, with over 23,000 people visiting the centre during this time. Their current average is 49 people per week, with the over 50’s making up 75% of this figure.

Their aim is to increase public awareness and positively enhance the opportunities and lives of all the local community by providing high quality, accurate information, support and advice services. Many local residents need help and support with things such as compiling CVs, finding job websites, help with understanding letters from official offices, respite care etc – the Centre provides the local community with all this and much more.

Our funding of £5,000 goes towards core running costs.
