Too often the corporate world is exactly that – corporate, distant and remote. Not so with the Body Shop Foundation – the real face of a real company that really cares.
I have had the pleasure of working closely with Body Shop Foundation representatives, attending Foundation events, speaking at Foundation meetings to discuss matters of ethics, social responsibility and compassion. Born Free, the organisation I work for, has benefited from the Foundation’s commitment to a more caring world through the projects that it has funded in Tanzania, Malawi, and Cameroon. That is what I think it is all about, the ability to communicate, to engage and to really get to know and understand how we, working together, can make a genuine difference to the world around us.
That is my personal experience of the Body Shop Foundation and I am sure it is one that is shared by many.
