So who wants to help give £20,000 away on-line to charity?
As you know, we’re proud to be celebrating 20 years of company giving through The Body Shop Foundation. To mark this milestone, the Foundation has joined forces with The Body Shop UK (27 May – 11 July) and ask our customers to decide how to donate £20,000.

Our remit means that our projects are innovative and driven by enthusiastic, energetic groups at grassroots level. The three charities that will be voted on in-store have been selected to reflect the Foundation’s remit areas – environmental protection, human rights and animal protection:
Women’s Environmental Network is an innovative UK charity dedicated to advancing women’s perspectives on the environment and helping to empower as many women and families as possible to lead healthier lives. The network promotes sustainable living and environmental justice for all through training and campaigns on a range of important health and environmental issues such as urban food-growing, climate change, chemicals, and household waste.
Co-Ordinated Action Against Domestic Abuse is a national charity which supports a strong multi-agency response to domestic abuse and aims to protect the highest risk victims and their children. CAADA provides practical tools, training, guidance, quality assurance and policy and data insight to support professionals and organisations working with domestic abuse victims.
Care for the Wild International (CAADA) is a charity which prides itself on its strong track record for getting quick and efficient emergency aid – food, veterinary equipment and medicine – through to the animals that need it most.
Once the votes have been counted, £20,000 will be distributed according to our customers’ selections.
The organisation with the most customer votes will receive £10,000, the charity in second place will be awarded £6,000 and the final organisation will receive £4,000. The final ranking of the charities will be revealed in August.
