MADRE
MADRE is an international women’s human rights organisation headquartered in New York City.
They work in partnership with community-based groups in countries such as Colombia, Guatemala, Haiti, Iraq, Kenya, Nicaragua, Palestine and Sudan.
Our funding of £30,000 over 2 years is given for the Underground Railroad for Iraqi Women, a project addressing violence against women in Iraq and providing them with a safe house network.
