Introducing……our brand NEW Local Community Grants Panel!

heart-handsWe’ve got a brand new Local Community Grants Panel, made up from UK Service Centre staff from The Body Shop International  and we couldn’t be happier!

We asked for charitable minded people who would like to get involved with the work of The Body Shop Foundation at a local level  and were thrilled at the level of response.

Our Local Community Grants Programme is a small but vital programme where staff based in the Service Centre at the Watersmead site, Littlehampton, West Sussex and New City Court in London nominate small local charities, working for the greater good of the community

Our new panel will help allocate these funds through the grant awarding process. They come from all areas of the business with some incredible skills and experience and are as follows (drum roll please)…..

  • Michael Richardson, Marketing Manager, EMEA/International, W’mead
  • Sue Reddie, Fundraising Assistant, The Body Shop Foundation
  • Qasar Qayyum, Franchise Account Manager, Middle East, EMEA , London
  • Michael Jarvis, Market Support Accountant, W’mead
  • Lorraine Yarnley, International Retail Training & Development Manager, London
  • Lee Mann, Senior Buyer, CT, W’mead
  • Katie Potter, International C& I Manager for Skincare and Haircare, London
  • Jessie Macneil-Brown, Global Campaigns Manager, London
  • Graham Hunter, International Recruitment Manager, London

Over the weeks, you’ll be finding out more about these individual Panels members with our ‘10 questions we ask everyone’ but in the meantime we’d like to say welcome board and here’s to some great local funding!
