Sahara Challenge 2012 – introducing Phil Puncher
Do you know, we’re incredibly lucky at The Body Shop Foundation; we’ve got the BEST supporters and volunteers in the world.
Take Phil Puncher for example. He hears that we are doing an incredible challenge across the Sahara which is all about ‘walking for water’ to give communities access to clean water. So what does he do? He throws himself right in and starts fundraising almost immediately.
Hats off to him we say (although not if you are in a hot, sunny place) – here’s Phil’s response to the 10 questions we ask everyone……
Apart from your home and car, what’s the most expensive thing you’ve ever bought?
Wedding ring….not the ring itself you understand but the lady that went with it….very expensive!!!
What’s been the most embarrasing moment of your life?
Walking round with the word TWIT written on my forehead in lipstick having had it put there by somebody whilst asleep on a train
If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
End all wars and live in peace.
If you were invisible for a day, what would be the first thing you’d do?
The 1st thing I can’t tell you….but second, walk around without having combed my hair…who would know!!
If you had a pound to give to charity, which collection tin would you pop it in?

When was the last time you cried?
Last night watching GHOST…always gets me that film!!
Who did you last receive a text from and what did it say?
My partner…’don’t forget the milk’
If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?
Doris…that would confuse people.
What is your favourite thing about The Body Shop Foundation?
Everything about the Foundation is my favourite.
What one skill or talent do you have that no-one knows about?
I can recite the alphabet backwards very quickly.
