Mitra Alam Munggaran, Indonesia

Mitra Alam Munggaran are an environmental group whose main aim is rainforest protection and management. They also organise community outreach activities to maintain the ancestral indigenous culture in the Mandalamekar Village area.

Mitra Alam Munggaran have been awarded £4,910 through Asia Pacific Zone Funding Panel to develop their Household Herb garden Programme.

This programme aims to combine the production of herbal medicine using the surrounding natural resources amongst the poor village residents giving them more access to natural healing.
