Sahara Challenge – introducing Paul McGreevy


bs29emailOur Sahara Challenge urges people to ‘walk their talk’ for the access to water.  Imagine our delight when Executive Board member and International Values Director stepped up to the plate.

Paul McGreevy is also a trustee of The Body Shop Foundation and a passionate champion of values across the business.  Here’s a little bit more about Paul in the 10 questions that we ask absolutely everyone….

Apart from your home and car, what’s the most expensive thing you’ve ever bought?
A credit card for my wife

What’s been the most embarrassing moment of your life?
Ask a pregnant lady on the tube if she wanted to sit down. She said I’m not pregnant, just fat.Embarassed I asked if she wanted to sit down and take the weight of her feet.

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
Poverty

If you were invisible for a day, what would be the first thing you’d do?
12th man on the Middlesbrough Football team – hopefully give them a chance of winning!

If you had a pound to give to charity, which collection tin would you pop it in?
St De Paul Trust for the homeless – my brother is the CEO of it.

When was the last time you cried?
At the birth of my daughter Tallulah, 8 weeks ago.

Who did you last receive a text from and what did it say?
Stupid joke from Ian Prendergast, because all Liverpudlians are funny (allegedly!)

If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?
Spartacus

What is your favourite thing about The Body Shop Foundation?
What they achieve and the fun they have in doing it.

What one skill or talent do you have that no-one knows about?
I am talentless in so many ways it’s difficult to think of one
