Tree Aid ‘s vision is to see thriving, self-reliant communities in Africa’s rural drylands, their mission being to alleviate poverty sustainably while improving the environment.
They are the UK’s only forestry focused development charity, providing funding as well as on-the-ground training and support to local partners in Mali, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, and Northern Ghana.
Our grant of £10,000 is given towards the “Income from Trees” project working with 10 communities around Yako, Northern Region, Burkina Faso.
