And the winner for the International Zone is….

We are pleased to announce that the Anita Award Winner 2011 for the International is:

SIMON ALLCHIN, TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT, WATERSMEAD SITE

Simon brings the Values of the company to life on a daily basis.

A keen environmentalist who encourages recycling, he also volunteers for a long list of organisations including St Winifred’s Hospice, The Body Shop Foundation and LCT Homelink.

Simon initially volunteered at LCT Homelink during the Foundation’s decoration of the toilets and café area during Anita Week last year, but has since returned to do some plastering and also to train some of the Meadview Centre clients to mix plaster – providing the tools and materials needed himself.

Simon has also fundraised for charity completing the Brighton Marathon and the London to Brighton cycle ride for the British Heart Foundation.

A true values ambassador, inspiration and all-round gentleman, Simon, we think it’s very well deserved!
