And the Asia Pacific Anita Award Winner is….
We are pleased to announce that the Anita Award Winner 2011 for the Asia Pacific Zone is:
MANDY GLASSEY, AUSTRALIA
Mandy joined TBS approximately six years ago and immediately found her niche in the company’s approach to activism and community investment.
She has become one of the main leaders of the Children on the Edge programme in East Timor, assisting on the play schemes run. Inspired by her experience, Mandy started her own children’s charity ‘Smiles Across Nations’ which currently funds the schooling of two children in Ache, Indonesia, and employs five women who make goods to fund this not-for-profit charity.
Mandy approaches every company campaign with enthusiasm and zeal and also plays a very active role in her local community, becoming the Victorian Co-Ordinator for the clean-up after the recent floods in Victoria. She’s one of life’s inspirational women who constantly gives and never expects anything in return.
