Social Action for Women Empowerment and Rural Advancement (SAWERA) is committed to all sorts of activities including women’s empowerment, child welfare, social integration, rural development, health, basic education, poverty reduction, urban slum development & productive employment through Awareness and Action Programmes.

Our grant of £4,504 through our Asia Pacific Grants Programme is towards the promotion of organic farming in 10 villages of the indo-pakistan border, Punjab, India. Please read their report here on what was achieved with this funding : sawera-report
